About Aerobic Capacity

We are very fortunate to have access to the running track at Little Marlow and have sessions led by Teri Knight our specialist Running and Biomechanics coach. Each session is set at the athletics track and different distances and energy systems are utilised.

Teri from Pure Running is a specialist that focuses on the correction of an individual’s running biomechanics and the quick recovery from injury.

Teri has an honours degree in Sports Rehabilitation and has worked with a variety of athletes since 2006 ranging from beginners, professional Footballers, CrossFitters, Rugby players and Olympians.

She will help you achieve the full potential from your body. Whether you run or exercise for fun, fitness, weight loss or competition, technique provides the key to your success.

Aerobic Capacity Class

This session is based at the running track with the main focus being to build your base and expand your engines. Each week is an interval based session working on strengthening your aerobic capacity.

Aerobic capacity is the ability of the heart and lungs to get oxygen to the muscles. An example of aerobic capacity is the body’s ability to take in and use oxygen to improve aerobic performance.
